I Am Being Blackmailed on Telegram After a Video Call Recording

Today at 22:40, I was contacted on Telegram by a user with the name “p*”** and through the phone number +1 (954) 35*00**. What began as a simple chat quickly turned into something far more serious. This person persuaded me to join a video call on WhatsApp, during which they secretly recorded an inappropriate video of me without my consent.

After the call, they began threatening me with this recording, saying they would share it unless I complied with their demands. This is outright blackmail and harassment, and it has caused me great stress. I have not made any payments to this person, nor have I filed a report anywhere else yet, but I am extremely worried about the threats continuing.

I demand that this individual be identified and reported to the relevant authorities immediately. Telegram must act against such accounts that exploit and harass users, as no one should be subjected to threats or blackmail after using the platform.
