Reeder S23 Promax 512GB Persistent Wi-Fi Drops

Under Reeder's 'buy one get one free' campaign, we happily purchased two S23 Promax 512GB models for ₺12,500 from the İstanbul StarCity store on 27.02.2024, appreciating its local brand. However, both devices encountered Wi-Fi problems; they couldn't pick up signals even from 3-4 meters away. Without an accessory package, we exchanged them at İstanbul Airport AVM on 28.02.2024 for ₺1,100. The new phones spontaneously restarted and experienced freezing issues. On 01.03.2024, we were informed at the store that new models had arrived and we could exchange for the blue version. Despite trying the new series, Wi-Fi problems persisted; the devices couldn't detect networks and toggled Wi-Fi on and off automatically. Even after restarting, the connection was lost shortly after. When I called the technical service on 11.03.2024 to return the phones, they said I could only return them if the invoice showed a value, not if it was zero. Upon checking the invoice, I noticed the discounted amount rendered the invoice value as zero, without our knowledge. The store manager at Airport AVM, Mr. Ö****, advised me to exercise my return rights. I demand a resolution to this situation, which exploits my goodwill and disregards my legal 15-day return period. I will escalate this to the Consumer Arbitration Board today and share my experience everywhere. I've lost trust in local brands and will refrain from using them in the future.

After writing this complaint, I turned off the phones, and they are still in their boxes, just as I received them, in brand new condition. My process with the consumer arbitration committee is ongoing. An expert report was requested. The expert is supposed to deliver the report within 15 days, and I am nearing the end, hopefully. I will share the results here once it is concluded. Hopefully, I won't lose my money to this God-forsaken brand. While browsing today, something caught my attention; these phones do not have a gyroscope feature. Even my Vestel phone, which I bought in 2017, has a gyroscope, but this phone does not. If you ask what a gyroscope is, it is the component that allows us to play car racing games by tilting the phone left and right. It is also the part that allows us to watch VR videos. Unfortunately, this phone does not have this feature. May God curse you, what else can I say?

Hello friends, I wanted to provide an update on my complaint. The expert report has been issued, and my file is now on the agenda. It will likely be resolved in 10 to 15 days. I hope to come out of this process justified and not lose my money to this damned brand. I will update again once the decision is made.
