Puma Store Refused to Sell Displayed Products
I stopped by the Deposite outlet store on October 27 between 3:00 and 6:00 PM. I grabbed three items and proceeded to the cash register. However, the cashier dropped a bombshell, stating that they couldn't sell one item because it wasn't in stock. I requested to speak with the manager, and guess what happened? "Sure," says the friend behind the counter, "but he'll tell you the same thing." The manager appears and reiterates that they are unable to sell it. I tried to persuade them that displaying and not selling the product is illegal. But he's unconcerned, saying, "There's nothing I can do." Avoiding selling a specific product or service is a clear violation of Turkish Penal Code Article 240. I'm bringing legal action against them for refusing to sell a product that was on display. This is completely unacceptable! They can't get away with such deception.
