I'm filing a complaint over the S2-D error in the Profilo S900 cash register. The machine, which had been used for two and a half years, acquired the problem when I caught it in mid-air after nearly falling. Despite no symptoms of damage, the Pendik R2 service told me of a service price of ₺350 + VAT due to the warranty having expired. They further advised that after opening the machine, there could be additional expenses for part replacement. This is in stark contrast to my experience with another brand's machine, which, despite being dropped and the battery exhausted, did not incur such costs. Profilo's cash register sensitivity appears to be a money trap. Charging ₺350 + VAT for a fix that can be done with a single button press is unfair. I will not purchase Profilo cash registers again and will not suggest them to others who are considering doing so.
