I Got Charged $24 Instantly by Prezi Despite Clicking “Start Free 7-Day Trial”

I signed up for a free 7-day trial on Prezi's website, specifically under the "Start your 7-day free trial" section for the “Expert Presenters” option. I clicked the “Start Free Trial” button thinking it was, as clearly stated, a trial — meaning no charge unless I decided to continue after the 7 days. But to my shock, Prezi instantly charged my credit card $24 the moment I clicked.

There was no clear warning that payment would be taken immediately, and no consent screen confirming that I wished to be billed right away. This completely defeats the purpose of a “trial.” I didn’t even get a chance to use the platform before being billed.

I’m requesting an immediate refund of the ₺24 (approx.) that was taken without proper notice or authorization. I also demand that Prezi revise its misleading payment flow and clearly notify users if charges are being applied upfront. Transparency matters — this experience felt deceptive and unprofessional.
