Preply Referral Discount Not Applied After Friend Joined

I shared my referral link with a friend, and after they booked a lesson on Preply, I was expecting the promised discount. However, no discount was applied to my account. I find this very misleading—your platform encourages users to promote Preply through a referral button, yet when the conditions are met, the reward is not given. If the response will simply be that “the requirements were not met,” then please do not advertise such offers in the first place, because it is very clear in the system when a referral has been completed. This experience makes me feel deceived, as I trusted Preply’s referral program to work as promised. I demand that my discount be applied as advertised and that Preply ensures referral rewards are honored properly in the future.
