PhotoGrid Subscription System Misled Me With Free Trial Offer
On February 13 at approximately 11:50 PM, while using the PhotoGrid application on my iPhone, I clicked on the “3-day free trial” button. Despite not giving any clear approval for a paid subscription, approximately $41 was instantly charged from my card. Being charged immediately for something presented as a free trial caused serious frustration and inconvenience.
If I had forgotten to cancel after the trial period ended, I would accept responsibility for that mistake. However, that is not what happened here. The payment was taken the exact moment I clicked on the 3-day free trial option, and as soon as I noticed the charge, I immediately canceled the subscription.
The card charged belongs to Yapı Kredi Bank, and I am the cardholder. I did not approve any paid subscription; I only intended to start the free trial. Despite this, having such a high amount withdrawn without any transparent explanation or explicit confirmation is unacceptable.
I request that this transaction carried out through the PhotoGrid application be canceled and that the approximately $41 charged from my card be refunded to me as soon as possible.
