Philips Refuses to Honor Warranty for Broken xb9145/07 Vacuum Cleaner





I recently experienced an issue with my Philips xb9145/07 electric vacuum cleaner's power control attachment, which includes an on/off switch and the ability to adjust suction strength, as it broke. Despite contacting the authorized service center, I received an unsatisfactory response. During my conversation with Philips customer service, I was informed that the part's replacement had been registered under the warranty, which includes a comprehensive 5-year guarantee, on September 15, 2022, with reference number 202209150363. However, after waiting for approximately a month, I was given a denial response. Although their warranty terms state that part replacement is covered, I am being denied this service. Philips' refusal to fulfill their contractual obligations is in violation of consumer protection laws, and I am prepared to take my case to the Consumer Arbitration Board if necessary. I am seeking a resolution to this issue and expect Philips to honor its warranty.
