Philips Refused to Cover My Airfryer’s Rusted Basket Claiming User Error
I bought a Philips Airfryer, anticipating a reliable and top-notch product. Unfortunately, the inner basket developed rust after just a brief period of regular use. When I reached out to customer service, they insisted it was a case of "user error" and declined to honour the warranty for the issue. They even hinted that the weather might be to blame, suggesting I should have thought about my city's climate before making the purchase. This reply seemed to lack consideration and support. It's puzzling how a kitchen appliance designed for everyday use can rust so quickly, unless there's a problem with the quality of the materials used. Placing all the responsibility on customers while failing to provide a satisfactory solution demonstrates a clear absence of accountability. I had faith in the Philips brand, but now I wish I hadn't made that purchase.
