Philips Asking For Money For Guaranteed Product Repair

Almost a moment after I bought the Philips Speed Pro Max cordless vacuum cleaner, which I bought a year ago, the locking button on the part of the tube that connects to the vacuum cleaner broke by itself and fell. Although the product is invoiced and guaranteed, Philips service today said that Philips does not give a guarantee for the relevant button and that I have to buy a new button for 190 TL. How can a brand not give a guarantee for the part of the product it produces? For this reason, I do not plan to buy any product produced by the Philips brand from now on. I want a free repair under warranty as soon as possible.
