Philips 50pus8508 TV Fails to Turn On and Needs Replacing

We purchased the Philips 50PUS8508/62 model television, a Philips-branded product, from Teknosa. We have the invoice dated 08.07.2024 with the number ZT62024000004326. A few months after the purchase, the TV started failing to turn on. When we try to power it using the remote, the blue light turns off but the TV doesn’t start. Sometimes it turns on after an hour, and other times it doesn’t respond at all. We’ve tried unplugging it and pressing the power button on the unit itself, but still nothing. When we took it to the authorized Philips service center in Manavgat, they said it powered on there. Yes, it sometimes works for us too—operating without issue for a month—then suddenly refuses to turn on again, indicating some internal, unpredictable malfunction. We’re genuinely fed up with this because there are days when the TV won’t turn on at all. Looking at user reviews and complaints, we see that this issue is common in this series. For this reason, we’re not interested in sending it to service again—we are firmly requesting a product replacement. Otherwise, we will submit a complaint to the Consumer Arbitration Board. As someone who has used Philips for years, I would prefer not to take this to legal channels. Our other Philips TV has worked flawlessly for 10 years. We are expecting a clear solution and a response from you regarding this matter.
