I'm currently using a Philips television, and I’ve been facing an extremely annoying and persistent issue. In the top-left corner of the screen, a red box displays the message “CI Plus KEY fail”, and it won’t go away. This error is constantly on screen, significantly disturbing the viewing experience and making it nearly impossible to enjoy watching anything.

Despite researching the issue online and trying various basic troubleshooting steps, I haven't been able to fix it. From what I understand, this issue is related to CI+ module security or software, and it seems some people have resolved it by installing an update via USB stick. However, Philips provides no clear guidance or official fix on their website.

This error message is not something a consumer should have to deal with on their own after purchasing a modern smart TV. I urge Philips to provide a reliable software update or USB installation file to fix this CI Plus error as soon as possible. If this isn’t addressed quickly, I’ll be forced to escalate the issue via consumer rights channels. Please help restore basic functionality to a product I paid good money for.
