Philips LatteGo 5547/90 Defect - Loud Noise and Display Stuck After Service
I've been using the Philips Lattego 5547/90 model for 1.5 years and have been very happy with it. For the last 2/3 months, when the machine first starts working, the display on the screen gets stuck halfway through filling the chart, and it starts making unusually loud noises. Because this problem persisted, I took it to the Philips service center. They confirmed these noises were normal without even testing the machine. At my insistence, they took the machine in for service. After 15 days, they said there was no fault in the machine, but they replaced two parts that were still making the loud noise. I'm using it now, and the situation is the same. Nothing has changed. I reported this to Philips headquarters, but they said there was nothing to be done. We bought a brand, Philips, to find a contact person and have them resolve the issue when it occurs, but this situation has disappointed us.
