I noticed that the leather seat in my Peugeot 5008 is starting to look worn. I took my car to the Vardallar dealership in the city of Trabzon in Turkey. They took pictures of the cracks in the seat and sent the pictures to the warranty company. Even though my car had an extra 2-year warranty, they wouldn't pay for the leather damage, saying that it was caused by outside factors. Frustrated, I took my complaint to Peugeot's headquarters, but they also said it was caused by things outside of the warranty and therefore not covered. On the other hand, neither force nor bad handling has caused any tears or other damage to my seat. The only problem is that the leather is starting to split.
