Peugeot 3008 Seat Defect and Warranty Dispute
I have been a Peugeot user since 2016 and I am still actively driving a 2021 model 3008 vehicle. After purchasing my vehicle, I received a 5-year warranty with an additional warranty. I have already applied with the complaint that the leather on the front driver's seat is cracked and the armrest has come off. Authorized people from the warranty department took photos and stated that this fault would be taken care of under warranty, so I requested it to be replaced under warranty. It was shared by the dealer that it is not included in the warranty. The deformation and cracks on the seat are completely caused by the product, it is not a cut or tear. The official who reached me from the call center stated that they would provide support of ₺10,000 and recorded it in the system. When I went to the service, I was asked for an additional fee of ₺14,000 on top of the call center support amount. The purpose of extending the warranty by paying an additional fee for the vehicle is to avoid being victimized in such situations. The Peugeot brand is no longer customer-oriented as it used to be. It is not important to sell that much, what is important is to provide the best service and to satisfy the customer after sales.
