Pegasus Canceled My Flights To Resell At Higher Price
On December 16, 2025, my flights PC1136 (ORY–SAW) and PC2204 (SAW–ADB) were canceled by Pegasus after the connection between the flights was cut off. However, I can see that new tickets for the same routes, airports, and similar departure times are currently available for sale at significantly higher prices. This situation gives the impression that the cancellation was not due to operational or weather-related reasons, but rather a commercially motivated seat manipulation. Unfortunately, such a practice is inconsistent with ethical standards and passenger rights. I initiated the ticket cancellation process through the Pegasus mobile application and also contacted the call center. During the process, I was informed that the connection between the flights was lost and that I had to complete the cancellation myself, which caused difficulties. As a result, the full amount I paid — about $400 — was refunded; however, I do not consider my grievance resolved merely by this refund, as I am now forced to purchase the same flights at much higher prices. I request an immediate explanation of the situation and compensation for the inconvenience caused. Please note that if my issue is not resolved, I will file an official complaint with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM). My booking reference: 1avdjx.
