Pegasus Airlines Overbooked My Sabiha Gökçen-Dubai Flight & Won’t Honor Compensation
On February 10, 2025, I was bumped from my Sabiha Gökçen to Dubai flight due to overbooking. As compensation, I was promised a ticket for the next flight and a free ticket for future use. However, when I tried to redeem my free ticket at the end of January 2025, I ran into major issues.
When I called customer service, they asked for my reservation number, which I retrieved from the airline’s app and provided. But then, I was told that the reservation number “could not be found.” As of February 12, 2025, my request still hasn’t been answered, and I am left waiting indefinitely.
This airline is not honoring its commitment for overbooked passengers. They made a promise but are now ignoring my request. I demand a resolution immediately—either my free ticket should be reissued, or the airline should compensate me properly.
