Pegasus Airlines Closed The Flight Before The Time
On October 15, 2023, around 10:20 AM, while I was on the Pegasus flight from Istanbul to Skopje, something frustrating happened. Even though I got to the airport an hour and a half before the scheduled departure time, they told me that check-in was already closed. Not just us, but a lot of other passengers were also denied boarding in the same way. An airport staff member said that this happened because they sold more seats than they had available. Instead of fixing their mistake, Pegasus insisted on making us pay an extra 10,000 TL, and they sold us tickets for the 6:00 PM flight. We asked for help from various staff members, but they didn't take our situation seriously and made us feel like we were making it up. They started letting people on the plane for the 6:00 PM flight at 5:45 PM. They made us wait in the airbridge for more than ten minutes, which made us feel uncomfortable and upset because there was no ventilation. When the passengers got annoyed, one of the staff members replied in a rude way, saying that keeping passengers inside the airbridge actually makes the boarding process faster. Our flight finally left at around 6:20 p.m. The extra fee, the airport taxi that we had already paid for and couldn't cancel, and the 10-hour struggle we went through are all part of the same story. I'm sharing this information because I hope my complaint can be resolved.
