My Cat Was Mistreated During Flight by Pegasus Airlines Staff

On June 21, 2024, at Muş Airport, my cat in a standard 4.5 kg cat box, fitting flight regulations, was refused entry into the cabin and forced into cargo. Despite booking a seat on the plane, I was charged an extra ₺450 at the airport or told my cat couldn't board. I was also scolded. I encountered extremely poor treatment. Upon arriving for a transfer at Sabiha Gökçen Airport in Istanbul, I saw many cats in boxes and requested assistance at the gate, where they helped me retrieve my cat. Our flight continued inside the cabin. We flew from Muş to Istanbul in just 2 hours that day. The rude behavior of both the cabin crew chief, cargo handlers, and check-in desk personnel brought me to tears. My cat could have broken its neck in the cargo hold. This trauma could shorten its life. It's been 2 days, and my cat hasn't recovered. I will file a lawsuit against anyone involved.
