Baggage Fee Refund Request for the Pegasus Flight from Casablanca to Izmir
We bought an Istanbul-Izmir ticket in addition to our Pegasus tickets for the Casablanca-Istanbul flight organized by our tour company. We were told that we could take a transit connection from Casablanca to Istanbul-Izmir. However, when we arrived at Sabiha Gökçen, we discovered that the domestic check-in process had been automated. The machines were so broken that when you pressed a button, the page wouldn't load and time ran out. We asked the staff for assistance, but they seemed to know nothing and dismissed us. We asked someone else, and they said they didn't know either. We went to the office, but they said they couldn't help. One of the employees made a mistake, and we had to fight to get it canceled.
Because we were traveling from abroad, our 20 kg baggage allowance was suddenly reduced to 15 kg because they said they couldn't process the transit. We were forced to pay ₺990 in the early morning. Everyone was shouting for help, but the staff didn't listen. The staff was insufficient, uninformed, and uninterested. We were treated unfairly and are requesting a refund for our baggage fees. Why did we have to pay for an error that they couldn't correct? We spent the entire morning, from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, running around attempting to check in. Our return from vacation was utterly ruined.
