Pegasus Forced ₺1,000 Fee Due to Kiosk Malfunction and Threat of Denied Boarding

On September 18, 2025, during my Pegasus flight from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Kahramanmaraş, I encountered serious issues at the self-service kiosk system. While attempting to check in my luggage, the machine repeatedly failed during both the weighing process and tag scanning, preventing me from completing the procedure. I was then redirected to the manual baggage counter, but the staff there were unhelpful and showed little interest in resolving my problem.

Although my ticket included 15 kg checked baggage allowance and 8 kg cabin baggage allowance, I was traveling with only 12 kg in total. Despite being well within the permitted limits, I was unfairly charged an additional ₺1,000. To make matters worse, I was explicitly told that if I refused to pay, I would not be allowed to board the flight. Under this pressure, I was forced to make the payment against my will. I demand a full refund of the ₺1,000 unfairly charged fee.
