Pedigree 20kg Dog Food Has Worms – Amazon India Refund Request

I purchased a 20 kg bag of Pedigree Meat and Rice Adult dog food from Amazon India on 28 July 2026, delivered to my home in Tumsar, Maharashtra. Near the end of the pack, I discovered worms in the food, which was extremely shocking and upsetting. The expiry date printed on the bag was 08/06/2027, so it should still have been within its shelf life. My dog had already been eating from this bag and developed a slight tummy upset, which makes this situation even more worrying. In panic I immediately threw the remaining food away, as I did not want to risk my dog’s health any further. I request a full refund for this 20 kg bag and a proper investigation into this batch and supply chain so that other pet parents do not experience the same issue. I would like to be assured that the necessary quality checks are carried out and that such a problem will not be repeated in future products. I have already ordered the same product and quantity again from Amazon, and I sincerely hope that this new order arrives in good condition and meets the expected quality standards.
