On September 23, even though I used the Pdfguru service through Google for a one-time transaction only, ₺2,200 was unauthorizedly charged to my credit card. I never approved any membership or subscription, nor did I encounter any checkbox, contract, or subscription agreement during the process. I noticed the unauthorized charge on my mobile phone banking app.
As soon as I discovered the issue, I contacted Pdfguru via Gmail. They asked me to share my credit card details for verification, but afterward claimed they weren’t responsible for the transaction and redirected me to an invalid Gmail address. I never received any helpful response or refund regarding my payment.
I also canceled my Ziraat Bank credit card and filed a complaint with my bank. I request that these unauthorized charges be prevented in the future and that the ₺2,200 withdrawn from my account be refunded immediately.
