I Face Misleading Free PDF Editing Claim With PDF Guru Requiring Paid Plan

82

I recently used the PDF Guru website after finding it through Google search results that clearly advertised it as a free PDF editor. The site gave me the impression that I could upload my file, make edits, and then download it without any charge. After uploading my PDF, I spent nearly 30 minutes carefully editing the document. However, when I tried to download my file, PDF Guru suddenly blocked access and demanded that I select a paid subscription plan before I could retrieve my edited work.

This kind of misleading “free” claim wastes people’s time and feels deceptive. If the service is not actually free, the company should clearly state upfront that downloading requires a paid membership instead of tricking users after they invest time.

I am asking PDF Guru to stop this misleading advertising, provide a truly free option for basic edits, and allow users to download their own files without being forced into a paid plan.
