I Encounter Unauthorized Renewal Attempt by PDF Guru After One-Time Payment

I purchased a 7-day service from PDF Guru as a single-use transaction, expecting it to be limited only to that payment. On August 8, 2024, I noticed that the platform attempted to charge my card again without my consent. Luckily, the payment did not go through because my card was closed at the time. However, this incident shows that PDF Guru tried to bill me for a renewal I never authorized. I clearly did not sign up for any subscription, nor did I agree to automatic renewals.

To make matters worse, the website provides no clear option to cancel any so-called membership or to block future payments. A one-time service should not turn into an ongoing charge, especially without proper notification or approval.

I am demanding that any hidden membership tied to my account be canceled immediately and that no further automatic withdrawals be attempted in the future. I expect urgent support from PDF Guru to ensure that my card is no longer at risk of unauthorized billing.
