On March 23, 2025, I purchased the PDF Guru desktop program for a one-time use on Windows through the official website and paid $2. However, without any subscription approval or notification, I later discovered that high monthly charges had been withdrawn from my credit card. These transactions were made entirely without my knowledge or consent. I identified the unauthorized payments through my credit card statement.
The unauthorized charges are as follows:
April 28, 2025 – $46 USD
May 28, 2025 – $46 USD
June 27, 2025 – $46 USD
July 27, 2025 – $46 USD
August 26, 2025 – $46 USD
September 25, 2025 – $46 USD
October 25, 2025 – $45 USD
A total of 7 months of unauthorized charges were withdrawn, averaging around $46 per month. I paid only for single-use access and was never presented with any subscription agreement, nor did I approve one. I contacted customer support but received no resolution.
I request that the subscription—apparently started in my name—be cancelled immediately and that all unauthorized payments be refunded to me. I also ask that my complaint be kept confidential and not posted publicly.
