Poor Customer Service and Defective Item At PaulMark

Poor Customer Service and Defective Item At PaulMark
April 1 8:21 AM37

On March 15, 2026, I purchased a two‑piece PaulMark suit (jacket and trousers) for 100,000 Iraqi dinars from Maxi Mall, Najaf / Al‑Shira’a branch in Iraq. After purchase, I had the trousers slightly resized by a tailor because they were a bit loose, and later I discovered a serious manufacturing defect that makes the trousers unwearable. A few days after the alteration, I noticed that the fabric of the trousers has two clearly different color tones instead of being a single uniform color, which is clearly visible in the photos and is unrelated to the tailoring work. On March 24, 2026, I returned to the Maxi Mall Al‑Shira’a branch to report this defect and request an exchange of the product. However, the store staff and the branch manager were not cooperative and refused to exchange the item, insisting that because the trousers had been taken to a tailor, they would not take responsibility. I explained that this is a basic manufacturing defect in the fabric itself, not a result of the tailoring, and that the trousers in this condition are completely unwearable and unsellable, but they still rejected my request. I then contacted the main branch and received the same rejection with the same excuse about the tailoring. When I asked whether I was allowed to publicize this issue, I was met with a rude response along the lines of “It seems you don’t understand.” After that, I sent an email to the main company in Turkey, but I have not received any reply so far. I am requesting a fair solution to this problem, specifically the replacement of the defective trousers, or if that is not possible, an appropriate remedy for this clear manufacturing defect. I am sharing the purchase invoice and photos of the defective product to show the difference in fabric color and to support my complaint.

On March 15, 2026, I purchased a two-piece PaulMark suit for 100,000 IDN from the Maxi Mall Najaf branch. Due to a manufacturing defect, my trousers developed two different color tones and became unusable. After tailor intervention, neither the store nor the head office accepted responsibility, and I did not receive any response to my email. I am currently requesting an exchange or an appropriate resolution.
