Oysho Store Refused My Return Claiming Perfume Smell and Stains on Unused Item
On October 8, 2025, I tried to return a product I had purchased by card from the Oysho store in Capacity Mall. The item was never removed from its packaging and was completely unused. However, store employees rejected my return, claiming the product had a stain and smelled of perfume. This was completely untrue — the product had never been taken out of the bag, and there was absolutely no scent. I believe these excuses were fabricated to avoid processing the return.
Moreover, I’ve noticed that many items in the store are left on the floor or displayed with stains, which makes this claim even more unreasonable. I’ve never encountered such treatment from other brands, and I find Oysho’s practice of blaming the customer rather than seeking a fair solution highly unprofessional.
I expect Oysho management to review this issue, warn the employees involved, and ensure that customers are treated with respect and understanding during the return process.
