I’ve been using the Oppo A74, and I’m completely fed up with the camera performance. Even though the phone has plenty of storage space available, the camera takes over 10 seconds just to launch. This delay is extremely frustrating, especially when I need to take quick photos on the job. I often need to capture visuals immediately for work, but because of the lag, I’ve found myself having to ask others to take the photos for me.
It doesn’t end there—once the camera finally opens, taking a single photo involves another delay. It doesn’t snap immediately, and in urgent moments, this is a major issue. Worst of all, closing the camera takes up to 3 full minutes. It freezes and hangs to the point where I feel like throwing the phone out of frustration.
I expected much better performance from a smartphone in this range. I’m reaching out directly to Oppo—if there’s a fix, I want it applied immediately. If not, I will have no choice but to stop using this phone. I’ve already heard people around me saying, “Don’t buy Oppo,” after seeing my experience. You’re losing consumer trust—please take action and resolve this issue.
