OpenSea Blocks My NFT Sale – Demands 1 ETH Payment to Proceed

August 4, 2023 5:36 PM16

I listed my NFTs for sale on OpenSea.io, but when my buyer tried to purchase them, an error appeared, preventing the transaction. I contacted OpenSea’s support, and to my shock, they told me I need to pay 1 ETH to proceed with the sale.

Why is this required? I was under the impression that I could sell NFTs freely and only pay a commission upon a successful sale. Now, OpenSea is demanding an additional payment upfront, which makes no sense.

I need urgent clarification and a resolution. Why am I being charged extra just to sell my own NFTs? Has anyone else experienced this? OpenSea, explain this and fix it now!
