Telegram Banned My Account – 6 Emails to Support Ignored
My Telegram account linked to the phone number +1 (203) 290‑7*** has been blocked and I can no longer use the service. On my Android phone, Telegram started showing a warning in Spanish saying that my account was frozen for allegedly infringing the rules. Even though this message appeared above my chats and groups already before 9 May, I was still able to open the app at that time. I only used Telegram to chat with friends and family and to participate in some groups, and I did not manage or administer any group or channel. I did not knowingly violate any Telegram rule or engage in spam, promotions, or illegal activity. Despite this, my number was later completely banned and on 11 May I could no longer log in because my phone number was blocked, and I permanently lost access to my account. Before the account was finally closed, I tried several times to contact Telegram support by email. I sent around six emails to the Telegram addresses I could find, clearly explaining my situation, but I never received any response or support, and no information was provided about the specific rule I am supposed to have violated. I kindly request that my phone number be unblocked so that I can use Telegram again, and that my previous account, chats, and group memberships be restored if possible. If you believe there was a violation, I also ask you to give me a clear explanation of the exact reason for the block. I am ready to follow all Telegram rules and just want to recover access to my communication with friends and family.
