They promised advanced content but it’s repetitive in Open English, how can I access the higher level?

If Open English content feels repetitive and you want access to more advanced materials, first ask their support (in writing) what level or track is offered for “upper-intermediate / advanced” or CEFR B2-C1 learners in your subscription.

Check if there are placement tests, level-up options, or specialised courses for test prep (IELTS, TOEFL, academic/business English) listed in your account dashboard.

If you’re still stuck, supplement Open English with external resources aimed at high levels: for example, the British Council’s “Find resources for your level” lets you filter to C1-Advanced content.

Using such materials alongside live conversations will push you past the plateau.
