Open English Renewed My Subscription Without Consent And Charged Twice

Online English education was purchased from OpenEnglish for the 2024 academic year, and the payment was made upfront in installments by credit card. At the end of the one-year period, we informed OpenEnglish through recorded phone calls that we would not be renewing the service. Despite this, the subscription for the 2025 academic year was renewed without our knowledge, and two separate charges were made to my credit card. When I contacted customer service, they simply said, “What’s done is done, we cannot refund,” and ended the call. Although I notified the company by email requesting a refund for a service I did not receive, no refund has been issued.

We extend our endless thanks to the Şikayetvar website. Although my aim was not the fee itself, I wanted to see that fees charged for services not received could be refunded within the legal framework. I especially thank you for helping me achieve my goal.
