Opel Refused to Replace the Faulty Timing Chain in My Crosland 15 Diesel

For about 3 months, my Opel Crosland 1.5 diesel has been making noise from the timing chain during the first start in the morning. Because of this, I made an appointment with Ankara Opal Authorized Service and took my car in. After the inspection, they told me “There is no problem with your vehicle,” only changed the oil and oil filter, and closed the recall campaign. However, my car still has a 7 mm chain, while in Europe all vehicles of this model have been revised with a reinforced 8 mm chain and a camshaft gear cover. If there is no problem, I do not understand why such a revision was made. I believe that with the oil and filter change, they only postponed the real issue temporarily. My license plate number is 33AOH537. I request that the chain set be replaced free of charge.

Opel Turkey called and asked me to go to the service again. The service refers me to you, and you refer me to the service. Please provide a solution; there is a problem with my vehicle. After the oil and oil filter change, the noise continues. The chain replacement interval is 200,000 km, but it starts to break at 40-50,000 km. If there was no problem with the factory chain, it wouldn't go for revision. In models after 2022, the chain set has been replaced with a revised chain set. In Europe, they do unconditional replacements as part of a campaign. Why aren't you doing replacements? Is it because of your pricing policy? After all, you merged under PSA. Are you acting like Fiat and victimizing people? When I asked this, they couldn't answer. Considering the situation Opel has fallen into, would I choose it again? It's questionable. I want the problem to be resolved.
