I Enabled 90 FPS on My OnePlus 9 Pro but It Drops to 60 FPS During Matches

I bought the OnePlus 9 Pro expecting smooth high-performance gaming, but instead I’m incredibly disappointed. Although the 90 FPS option appears enabled in the game lobby, it automatically drops back to 60 FPS as soon as a match starts. What’s the point of advertising 120 Hz display and flagship Snapdragon 888 performance if the device can’t even maintain 90 FPS in gameplay?

To make things worse, my old Redmi Note 8 Pro—with a MediaTek processor—handled 90 FPS without issue, and that device is over two years old! I paid a premium expecting OnePlus to deliver a true flagship experience, but it’s failing at even the basics.

It’s unacceptable that a supposedly top-tier phone performs worse than budget models. I’ve checked every setting, updated the software, and even reset the phone, yet nothing helps. This issue ruins the entire gaming experience and has made me regret switching to OnePlus.

I’m calling on OnePlus to immediately fix this with a software update or offer a real explanation. Stop misleading customers with specs you don’t fully support. I chose this phone specifically for its gaming capabilities—don’t let that be a mistake.
