While trying to open an account on OKX TR, I reached the address verification stage and attempted to upload my barcode-enabled residence certificate obtained through the Turkish e-Government (e-Devlet) system. However, the system continuously displays the error “The barcode format you entered is invalid” and refuses to accept the document. Even though the document is official and valid, I have been receiving the same error for over a day.
I am uploading the document from my phone via the app. When I contacted customer support about this issue, they only suggested that I delete and reinstall the app. I tried this as instructed, but the problem was not resolved, and my address verification still cannot be completed.
I request that OKX TR manually review and approve my e-Government barcode residence document, or alternatively fix the barcode reading error in the system and provide the necessary technical support so that the address verification process can be completed smoothly.
