I purchased a pair of New Balance sneakers from New Balance Türkiye, expecting high quality. However, within just three months, the shoes started making a loud squeaking noise, making them uncomfortable to wear.
I sent them in for inspection, and the company approved a refund instead of a replacement. The problem? In the time it took for them to process the refund, the same shoes had increased in price by ₺3000. Now, if I want to repurchase the same model, I am expected to pay significantly more out of pocket!
This is completely unfair to customers. If a product is defective within the warranty period, the company should offer a direct replacement instead of forcing customers to repurchase at a much higher price. I demand a fair resolution, such as a replacement at the original price or a store credit equal to the current selling price.
