New Balance 530 Mesh Tearing Within a Year—Denied Warranty Claim

I purchased a pair of New Balance 530 sneakers about a year ago, expecting durability and quality. However, before even reaching the one-year mark, holes started forming in the mesh fabric on both sides of the shoes. This is clearly a material defect, as the same issue appeared on both shoes.
I sent them in for inspection, hoping for a replacement or refund, but within just two days, they were returned with a "user error" rejection. This is unacceptable! I have only worn them for walking, at most 2-3 times per week, and have taken good care of them.
If a premium-priced shoe fails so quickly, what are we paying for? I demand a proper inspection and a replacement or refund. New Balance, stand behind your products!
