I purchased a pair of New Balance sneakers from SuperStep on October 13, 2024, for ₺7,999. Not long after, I noticed a tear forming on the right heel section of the shoe. This was extremely frustrating considering I had barely worn them. I am someone who rotates my footwear and takes very good care of my shoes, so seeing this kind of damage so early on was incredibly disappointing.
I sent the product in for inspection twice, and both times I was told the damage was due to “user error.” I strongly disagree with that assessment. I barely wore these shoes, let alone misused them. The material in the heel area appears to be weak or poorly constructed, and I believe this is a manufacturing flaw or quality issue, not something caused by me.
It’s frustrating to spend this kind of money on a product that fails so quickly and receive zero accountability from the brand. I am requesting that New Balance or SuperStep take responsibility and offer either a replacement or a full refund. I trusted this brand for quality and durability, and I feel that trust has been violated. Please resolve this issue and stop dismissing legitimate customer concerns.
