Mytrip and SAS Shift Blame Over Unprocessed $392 Flight Refund XHHW4B
My flight on June 21, 2026, booked through Mytrip and scheduled to be operated by SAS Airlines under airline reference number XHHW4B, was canceled by SAS on May 14, 2026. Following the flight cancellation, when I spoke with Mytrip, I was told that my ticket would be canceled and that the payment would be made to me once the refund authorization was issued by SAS. However, since that date, the process has dragged on and no payment has been made to me.
A total of $392 was collected from my credit card, but neither Mytrip nor SAS is refunding this amount. In my discussions with Mytrip, I was informed that the refund would be issued by SAS, that they had forwarded the request, and that the reimbursement would reflect on my card within a certain timeframe. When I speak with SAS, however, they state that Mytrip must send them an email and that no action can be taken without it. Despite communicating this situation to Mytrip multiple times, Mytrip claims they emailed SAS, while SAS says they received no such communication, leaving me stuck going back and forth between the two entities endlessly.
To date, I have contacted Mytrip at least 10 times, and every single time they have done nothing other than tell me that the process is ongoing and that I must wait. My refund has still not been issued, and no concrete steps have been taken. I believe both companies feel unaccountable and unbothered due to their lack of local representation in Turkey.
I demand an immediate, full refund of the $392 paid for this canceled flight without further delay, as well as the swift resolution of my file in light of the hardship endured throughout this prolonged process.
