Mytrip Refuses Refund After Air Arabia Cancels Flight

I purchased a flight ticket through Mytrip for my March 27, 2026 Bangkok–Istanbul flight with Air Arabia. I paid approximately $406 for the ticket and also purchased an additional “flexible ticket” service through Mytrip. However, I was unable to use this flexible ticket benefit for this reservation or any other ticket changes—I received no value from this service. Despite this, the airline canceled the flight, and Mytrip has not initiated the refund process for my ticket.

For the past two days, I have contacted Mytrip customer service multiple times. In some calls, representatives abruptly ended the conversation, and in others, they simply told me to contact the airline without offering any real solution. Even though I purchased the ticket through Mytrip, they are shifting all responsibility to the airline and not assisting me. I also cannot find my reservation in Air Arabia’s own booking system, which makes the situation even more uncertain and concerning. Due to this experience and lack of support, I would not recommend Mytrip to anyone.

My ticket PNR is 623917965, and my Mytrip order number is 1074-875-856. Since my flight was canceled by the airline and I also paid extra for a flexible ticket, it is unacceptable that the refund process has not been started and that I am receiving no support beyond being redirected. It is extremely frustrating that a company like Mytrip avoids issuing refunds by saying, “the airline does not approve refunds, sorry, you can use your rights for another flight,” instead of taking responsibility and effectively communicating with the airline.

I request that Mytrip fully refund both the ticket price for my canceled flight and the additional fee I paid for the flexible ticket service, without delay. Otherwise, I will pursue my legal rights.
