I Paid ₺4,770 at the Airport Despite Successful Online Check-In via Mytrip
I purchased a round-trip ticket for three people from Istanbul to Budapest for November 29, 2025, through Mytrip.com. I completed the online check-in via their platform, and it clearly stated "Check-in Successful" on the confirmation page. However, no boarding passes were issued. When I contacted Mytrip support, they assured me the check-in was done and that the boarding passes would either arrive via email or could be collected at the airport free of charge.
Their website explicitly states that if you book through them, you’re entitled to free online check-in. I trusted this and followed all steps correctly. However, when I arrived at the airport, I was forced to pay €135 (₺4,770) for three people just to obtain our boarding passes—despite having already checked in online!
I have the official receipt from the airport and screenshots proving the check-in confirmation. I demand a full refund of the €135 that I was wrongfully charged. This is not acceptable customer service, and Mytrip needs to take immediate action to reimburse me for a charge caused by their misleading and incomplete service.
Progress
I bought a plane ticket from Istanbul to Budapest for March 29, 2025. I did an online check-in for the 3 tickets I bought through Mytrip, and it said online check-in was successful. However, it did not generate a boarding pass. After my correspondence with Mytrip, I was informed that the check-in was done, and the boarding passes would be sent via email or could be obtained for free at the airport. It was stated that check-in would be free since I made the reservation through Mytrip. I also did an online check-in again through Mytrip, and it said successful. However, at the airport, they charged me 135 euros for 3 people. I have the document proving my payment. I want a refund of the fee. I was aggrieved by Mytrip. I demand compensation for the fee I paid.
