On September 8, 2025, I purchased round-trip flight tickets from Warsaw to Istanbul through Mytrip (Reservation No: 1080-547-855). During checkout, I also purchased the cancellation protection plan, which is clearly listed on my invoice.
Today, I attempted to cancel my flight through Mytrip.com, expecting to receive a refund under the protection plan. However, despite having this cancellation guarantee, I was informed that I would receive only about ₺2,500 back, meaning that over 90% of the ₺19,878 total ticket cost would not be refunded. According to the terms of the policy, at least 90% of the amount should be reimbursed, so this is unacceptable.
When I contacted Mytrip’s live chat support, I wasn’t allowed to take screenshots, and the agents failed to provide a clear explanation. I have all invoice details and documents proving that I purchased the cancellation protection. I have already submitted a complaint to the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Board and filed a legal claim regarding this issue.
I am demanding that Mytrip refund at least 90% of the total ticket cost in accordance with the cancellation guarantee terms and conditions.
