MyIQ Unauthorized Subsubscription And Charge
I am writing regarding an unauthorized subscription and payment on Myiq.com and my difficulty in ensuring that my account is fully deleted. I live in Israel and noticed on 20 January this year that I had been charged 29.99 USD by Myiq.com for a subscription I did not knowingly authorize and do not remember agreeing to. I originally created my Myiq.com account this year by signing up through Google. After seeing the charge, I tried to cancel any subscription and delete my account from within the website, but I am not confident that this has actually been processed, and I am worried that I may be charged again in the future under another pretext. I contacted Myiq.com customer service about the unauthorized charge and my account deletion request. At first, I was told that it was a subscription I had agreed to and therefore could not be refunded. After sending several emails and insisting that I did not knowingly authorize this subscription, I was finally told that the amount had already been refunded. However, I do not believe that this refund was actually made, and this has further damaged my trust in the service. I request a full refund of 29.99 USD, the immediate and permanent cancellation of any active or future subscription linked to my details, and the complete deletion of my Myiq.com account and all related data. I also expect written confirmation that my account has been deleted and that I will not be charged again.
