MyIQ Subscription Charges Without Consent After €0.50 Test
On November 24, 2025, I completed an online IQ test on a website that appears on my card statement as “MYIQ.COM/EU ST. JULIAN S MelMT.” On the same day, two separate charges of €0.50 were debited from my card with the description “Myiq.com eu st.julians mt.” At that time, I only intended to take a one-time IQ test and did not knowingly approve any paid subscription or recurring charges.
However, on December 9, 2025, an additional €29.99 was charged to my card in connection with this website. Further charges of €29.99 were then taken again in January 2026, February 2026, and March 2026.
I did not give explicit consent to start any paid subscription, nor was I clearly informed that a paid plan would begin after completing the IQ test. I neither need nor want this service, and I consider these charges unauthorized, as I only intended to take a one-time test and was not properly informed about any recurring subscription.
My payments and any account on your site are associated with the email address antonioal****@outlook.pt.
For these reasons, I request a full refund of all amounts charged to my card in connection with this service, including the €29.99 charged on December 9, 2025, as well as the repeated €29.99 charges in January, February, and March 2026.
I also request the immediate cancellation of any existing or future subscriptions or payments associated with my card and my account/email, including the €29.99 charge already scheduled for April.
Finally, I ask for written confirmation that the subscription has been canceled and that no further charges will be made.
