MyIQ Attempted $29.99 Charge Without Consent After $1 Test

I recently used the MY*IQ service from the United States and paid $1.00 with my Visa card in order to see my IQ test results. At no point was I clearly informed that by entering my email address and making this $1.00 payment, I would be enrolled in a recurring paid subscription. On April 25, 2026, MY*IQ attempted to withdraw $29.99 from my account without my knowledge or consent. This payment was declined by my bank, which alerted me via email that there was a suspicious, unauthorized charge attempt. I did not initiate, authorize, or knowingly agree to any monthly subscription with MY*IQ. The email address associated with my MY*IQ usage is: mickster*****@gmail.com. Since this charge attempt was not authorized, I am requesting the immediate cancellation of any subscription that may have been created in my name and the permanent deletion of my MY*IQ account and all associated data. I also ask that no further attempts be made to charge my card in the future. I expect MY*IQ to confirm in writing that my subscription has been canceled, my account has been deleted, and that there will be no further charges or charge attempts.
