Cancellation Of Unrequested Monthly Subscription To MyIQ
I used the MyIQ intelligence test once on my iPhone on 8 January 2026 from Israel. At that time I was not clearly informed that I was entering into any kind of recurring or monthly subscription, and I did not knowingly approve such an arrangement. After this single use, I have now discovered that I am being automatically charged on a monthly basis via PayPal, without my clear consent. According to my PayPal records, I was charged $0.50 on 8 January 2026, $0.50 on 10 January 2026, $24.99 on 17 January 2026, and another $24.99 on 12 February 2026. I accept the first $24.99 charge on 17 January 2026 as payment for the test I took. However, I did not agree to an ongoing subscription, and I do not accept any further recurring payments after that date. I tried several times to cancel this on the MyIQ website, but each time the page immediately showed an error message (“SNAP. Error.”) and did not allow me to complete the cancellation. As an 83‑year‑old user, I find this situation very distressing and confusing, especially as I have only used the service once and have since been abroad, returning to Israel on 4 February 2026, during which time these charges continued. I request that you immediately cancel any active subscription or recurring payment linked to my account and stop all future charges. I also request a full refund of all amounts charged after 17 January 2026, and written confirmation by email that my subscription has been cancelled and no further payments will be taken. My email address for this confirmation is: ilanason***@gmail.com. I expect this matter to be resolved promptly, as I did not knowingly authorize an ongoing subscription and have been unable to cancel it through your website due to technical errors.
