Motorola Baby Monitor Failed to Detect Fall—No Motion Alert Recorded
My baby was sleeping on the couch in the living room while the camera was set up. At 11:38 PM, my phone received a “motion detected” alert and recorded when my spouse left the living room. Then at 11:58 PM, after hearing a sudden “thud” sound, we rushed into the living room and found my baby on the floor. During that time, there was no motion detection or recording at all.
There is footage showing my baby’s condition and position after the fall, but the actual moment of the fall was not detected. If this camera is meant for safety, what kind of security is this if I can’t see the moment my baby falls? If I had been on the balcony, upstairs, or downstairs and hadn’t heard the sound, who knows what could have happened. I regret buying this after this incident. You should also file complaints with the proper authorities and stand up for your rights.
