I Lost $500 On A Car Rental Via Moneygram

On 24/2/07, I sent $500 to someone for a car rental, not an official one but one I found myself with the help of a friends, before using Moneygram, I asked if their online services were secure like others I used in the past, I was assured they were. Later as I was expecting a final transfer document, the recipient just stopped answering my e-mails. Moneygram couldn't trace the rest, even rejected my requests to disclose other info related to the recipient, they’re helping me as they should to find what happened to my money. No need to say of course I couldn’t rent the car, what if I sent like the total amount then, all of it would be gone.
