I'm an active trader on the MEXC exchange (UID: 37611460), and my account has been restricted for the second time under the vague excuse of “risk control.” The first time, they said it would be resolved in 30 days, and it was. But now, once again, they told me to wait 30 days—and just one day before the restriction was due to be lifted, customer service told me the lock period has been extended to 365 days!
This is outrageous and discriminatory. I strongly believe this is a region-specific practice targeting Turkish users. If you check MEXC’s Telegram groups, users from other countries are only restricted for 10 days, while Turkish users are being unfairly penalized with no real justification. What makes it worse is that the account already completed KYC verification, yet they’re asking for the same documents again, clearly stalling the process.
This all happened right after I made a quick profit in futures trading, which makes me believe they intentionally freeze profitable accounts. The support bot is useless and doesn’t provide any real assistance. If this issue isn’t resolved by tomorrow, I will file an official complaint through CİMER and take legal steps. I demand full transparency, immediate reactivation of my account, and an end to this unfair targeting of Turkish traders.
